These services include drilling and formation evaluation, well construction, and completion services Oil wells are generally classified into three different categories. Those that exclusively produce oil, those that exclusively produce natural gas and those that produce both oil and natural gas.

Types of Crude Oil
Class A: Light, Volatile Oils.
Class B: Non-Sticky Oils. These oils have a waxy or oily feel.
Class C: Heavy, Sticky Oils.
Class D: Nonfluid Oils.
